I found this old message on my phone the other day. I was disturbed when I heard it the first time, and I suddenly became disturbed again when I listened to it again the other day. I've had my (917) number for years now so I've gotten used to getting calls every now and then saying, "Yo, is Karla theeere?" or something unintelligible in Hebrew or Hindi. But this one beat them all. I keep wondering what would have happened if I had actually answered it. Can anyone help me figure this out? The old guy is obviously from Brooklyn, so that should narrow it down. And he's probably used to getting calls from the police department. If you know anyone who fits this description let me know.
